Monitoring Compliance with the Academy/CDR Code of Ethics for the Nutrition and Dietetics Profession

The Academy/CDR Disciplinary and Ethics Complaints Policy for the Code of Ethics establishes a fair system to deal with complaints about members and credentialed practitioners from peers or the public.

To report an alleged violation of the Academy/CDR Code of Ethics for the Nutrition and Dietetics Profession, it must be submitted in writing on the appropriate form, which may be accessed online at:


Verification of Registered Status of Credentialed Practitioners
Online verification can be obtained through the CDR website. To obtain online verification, go to the CDR home page and click on the Online Credential Verification Search icon. The credentialed practitioner's registration identification number and state of residence must be provided.
